Irakli Kobakhidze: I’m convinced that we will not have any complications with regard to visa-free regime

I’m convinced that we will not have any complications and we will be able to maintain that achievement, which is a very important step on the path of EU integration, – Speaker of Parliament of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze told reporters.

“Visa liberalization is one of our most key achievements on the path of the EU integration that we view with special caution. We have certain obligations that are derived from this achievement and therefore, we try our best to meet these commitments. The parliament is actively involved in this. We’ve passed the package of relevant draft laws to avoid problems as much as possible. We are constantly open to discuss any issue related to visa liberalization, and we always express our readiness to eliminate all problems in this regard, so I’m convinced that we will not have any complications and we will be able to maintain that achievement, which is a very important step on the path of EU integration,” Irakli Kobakhidze said.
