International audit issues report on GPB financial integrity

The external audit confirmed that all financial transactions and procurement activities associated with the construction of the Georgian Public Broadcaster First Channel’s new building were carried out seamlessly and without any issues.

The audit report details the findings from monitoring the financial activities of the television station for the year 2024. Prepared by an internationally recognized company selected through a competitive process, the document underscores the significance of transparent and responsible financial management. Notably, the construction of the Public Broadcaster’s new facility was completed last year, and the phased relocation process commenced, involving numerous financial and tax transactions.

The audit’s overall conclusion is positive: no violations or irregularities were detected in any area.
