Intermittent wet weather to persist across parts of Georgia from March 7 to 9
The National Environment Agency (NEA) has issued a forecast indicating that intermittent precipitation will continue across several regions of Georgia between March 7 and 9.
According to meteorologists, Tbilisi can expect largely dry conditions on March 7, with light rain and wind forecast for March 8 and 9. Daytime temperatures will range between +9°C and +11°C.
Coastal areas (Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, Poti) can expect intermittent rainfall, with daytime temperatures of +9°C to +11°C.
Lowland areas of western Georgia (Zestaponi, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Martvili, Ozurgeti) will also see intermittent rain, with daytime temperatures of +8°C to +10°C.
Mountainous areas of western Georgia (Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo, Rikoti Pass) can expect intermittent precipitation, with daytime temperatures of +6°C to +8°C.
High-altitude areas of western Georgia (Mestia, Bakhmaro) should expect intermittent snowfall, with daytime temperatures ranging between -1°C and +1°C.
In Kartli (Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Gardabani, Gori, Tskhinvali), localised precipitation is forecast, with daytime temperatures of +8°C to +10°C.
In Kakheti (Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Sighnaghi, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Akhmeta, Dedoplistskaro), localised precipitation is also expected, with daytime temperatures of +9°C to +11°C.
Mountainous areas of eastern Georgia (Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, Pasanauri) may see localised snowfall, with daytime temperatures of +4°C to +6°C.
High-altitude areas of eastern Georgia (Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, Omalo) can also expect localised snowfall, with daytime temperatures ranging between -2°C and -4°C.
