Intermittent rainfall expected across Georgia on May 9–11

The National Environment Agency (NEA) has issued a weather forecast for Georgia covering the period from May 9 to 11.

According to the Agency, intermittent wet weather is expected across various parts of the country over the coming days.

Tbilisi may experience brief spells of rain accompanied by thunder, with daytime temperatures reaching +23 to +25°C.

Coastal areas (Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, Poti): isolated short-duration rain and thunderstorms are possible, with daytime temperatures of +22 to +24°C.

Lowland areas of western Georgia (Zestaponi, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Martvili, Ozurgeti): scattered brief showers and thunder are expected, with daytime temperatures of +24 to +26°C.

Mountainous areas of western Georgia (Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo, Rikoti Pass): intermittent short showers and thunder are forecast, with daytime temperatures of +21 to +23°C.

High-altitude areas of western Georgia (Mestia, Bakhmaro): intermittent brief rain and thunderstorms are expected, with daytime temperatures of +19 to +21°C.

Kartli (Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Gardabani, Gori, Tskhinvali): isolated showers and thunder are possible, with daytime temperatures of +24 to +26°C.

Kakheti (Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Sighnaghi, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Akhmeta, Dedoplistskaro): intermittent brief rain and thunder are expected, with daytime temperatures of +23 to +25°C.

Mountainous areas of eastern Georgia (Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, Pasanauri): scattered showers and thunder are possible, with daytime temperatures of +20 to +22°C.

High-altitude areas of eastern Georgia (Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, Omalo): isolated brief rain and thunderstorms are expected, with daytime temperatures of +14 to +16°C.
