Interior Minister introduces new chief to Shida Kartli Police Department

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Sulkhan Tamazashvili, accompanied by his First Deputy, Roni Meskhi, has visited the Shida Kartli Police Department, where he held an operational meeting and introduced the new Director, Police Colonel Ramaz Tatarashvili, to the staff.

Ramaz Tatarashvili succeeds Sergi Bzishvili, who will continue his service as the Head of the Mtskheta-Mtianeti Main Division of the Patrol Police Department.

The Interior Minister wished the new Director success before being briefed by staff on local crime prevention and police operations.

Before this appointment, Ramaz Tatarashvili served as the Director of the Imereti Police Department. He brings many years of leadership experience within the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
