Interior Minister introduces Giorgi Bukhrashvili as new Adjara Police Department Director
Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri, along with First Deputy Shalva Bedoidze, formally introduced Police Colonel Giorgi Bukhrashvili as the new director of the Adjara Police Department to its employees.
Giorgi Bukhrashvili previously served as the director of the Samtskhe-Javakheti Police Department and brings with him years of leadership experience within the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He succeeds Grigol Beselia as the director of the Adjara Police Department.
During the meeting, Vakhtang Gomelauri expressed gratitude to Grigol Beselia for his service and extended best wishes to the newly appointed director, Giorgi Bukhrashvili, for his future endeavours.
During the working meeting, the Minister of Internal Affairs received a comprehensive overview from department employees regarding efforts to combat crime in the region, preventive measures in place, and the challenges currently faced.
The meeting also highlighted that enhancing the working conditions for police officers remains one of the Ministry’s primary priorities.
The Minister thanked the department’s employees for their dedication to maintaining law and order in the region and provided them with directives aimed at implementing police activities more effectively.
