Interior Minister holds working meeting with Public Defender

The Minister of Internal Affairs, Sulkhan Tamazashvili, alongside Deputy Minister Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, has held a working meeting with the Public Defender, Levan Ioselian. The Deputy Public Defenders also attended the meeting.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the sides discussed the ongoing cooperation between the Ministry and the Office of the Public Defender, as well as opportunities for its future development.

“Sulkhan Tamazashvili reviewed the core operational areas and current priorities of the Ministry. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of effective cooperation and seamless coordination between the two institutions. The parties also deliberated on future collaborative plans and reaffirmed their readiness to strengthen the existing partnership,” the Ministry statement read.
