Interim Investigation Commission into Khorava Street murder case to hold first sitting

Interim Investigation Commission into murder case of Khorava Street, a bloody conflict among teenagers on December 1, 2017 that claimed lives of two juveniles, will hold the first sitting today.

Sergi Kapanadze, Chairman of the Commission said that he planned to hold a meeting with Zaza Saralidze, father of Davit Saralidze, teenager killed at Khorava Street and his representatives on June 8. Also General Regulations of the Commission would be adopted. An agreement is reached about cooperation and exchange of information with Nino Lomjaria, Public Defender.

The Interim Investigation Commission into murder case of Khorava Street was established on June 6. The Commission has 17 members. The commission has been established with term of 3 month. However, its work term can be extended by one month three times. The authorities of the commission should not exceed 6 months.
