Interagency Council for Development and Reforms to be established

An Interagency Council for Development and Reforms was established in Georgia. Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili will head the council, which will elaborate a 10-year development plan.

The new body will coordinate the work of different institutions for efficient management of faced challenges and problems.

Ministers, lawmakers and official persons will be the members of the council. The body will invite professionals, experts and representatives of the private sector if necessary.

The first draft document of the 10-year development plan is expected to be submitted to the government no later than May 31.
