Inaugural direct flight from Shanghai to land in Tbilisi today

The first direct flight from Shanghai to Tbilisi lands today, offering Georgian travellers seamless access to China’s premier financial, technological, and tourism hub.

The agreement on these scheduled flights was finalised during the Georgian Economy Minister’s official visit to China, following successful high-level talks with the leadership of China Eastern Airlines.

One of China’s largest carriers will now operate the Tbilisi route three times a week.
