German Ambassador to Georgia, Hubert Knirsch, says the dialogue between the opposition and the government cannot be called a failure as long as the negotiations carry on.
The ambassador hopes the sides can reach progress in the nearest future.
‘The dialogue is not failed as long as it continues. We will take a holiday break, but before that we hope, we can make some progress regarding the dialogue.
International mediators are working with both sides on this issue and examining all the proposals,’ Hubert Knirsch stressed.
The third meeting between the government of Georgia and the opposition parties was held at Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metechi Palace on December 15. Foreign diplomats were participating in the meeting as well.
The first two meetings were held on November 30 and December 8.
