Health Minister meets Chief Ombudsman of Turkey

Zurab Azarashvili, Georgian Minister of IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Affairs, met Şeref Malkoç, Chief Ombudsman of Turkey.

The Minister familiarized the Ombudsman with the programs for human rights protection and the fight against trafficking and violence. The meeting discussed future cooperation prospects and the potential to implement joint projects.

Chief Ombudsman of Turkey and Deputy Health Minister Tamila Barkalaia will visit domestic violence service centres in Tbilisi.

Deputy Ombudsman of Turkey Celile Özlem Tunçak, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Georgia Ali Kaan Orbai, and the Vice President at the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child (CRC) Sopio Kiladze attended the meeting.
