Minister of Health Mikheil Sarjveladze is currently on an official visit to the United States, where he is participating in a series of meetings organised as part of the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly.
During his visit, the Minister held talks with the founders of the American international organisation, The Stirling Foundation. The foundation operates across various regions worldwide, focusing on social initiatives such as community development, emergency and crisis assistance, healthcare, support for internally displaced persons, and programmes for women and children.
The discussion centred on the strong partnership between the Ministry and the foundation, ongoing and upcoming projects, and potential opportunities to deepen future collaboration.
The meeting was attended by the Georgian Ambassador to the United States, Tamar Taliashvili.
The Minister is also scheduled to participate in and deliver speeches at high-level events in New York within the framework of the UN General Assembly. Additionally, Mikheil Sarjveladze will hold bilateral meetings with his counterpart ministers.
