Health condition of Tsotne Gamsakhurdia remains grave

The health condition of Tsotne Gamsakhurdia, son of Georgia’s first President Zviad Gamsakhurdia, remains grave.

According to Besarion Gogitidze, a doctor at Khechinashvili University Hospital, Tsotne Gamsakhurdia remains connected to the artificial breathing device.

“The patient’s health condition is still grave but stable, these days nothing has changed. The dynamics are unchanged, the situation remains difficult and stable. The hemodynamic data is stable and requires no additional intervention”, – said Besarion Gogitidze.

Tsotne Gamsakhurdia, the son of first president Zviad Gamsakhurdia, was taken to Khechinashvili clinic after he was wounded at Gali Street in Tbilisi on December 19.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia detained five individuals in connection with the case.
