The Head of the State Security Service of Georgia (SSSG), Geka Geladze, recently met with the Public Defender, Levan Ioseliani.
According to the SSSG, the discussion centred on human rights and security issues.
“The conversation addressed the occupied territories of Georgia and the situation along the occupation line. Geka Geladze emphasised the vital need to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions to improve the safeguarding of human rights. He affirmed that protecting human rights and ensuring their security remain a top priority for the State Security Service. In response, Levan Ioseliani outlined the key areas of activity within the Public Defender’s Office and expressed his willingness to deepen the partnership further,” the State Security Service stated in a release.
