Guria to host tourists with well-wiped seashore

Georgia’s western Guria region will host tourists and holiday-makers with a clean seashore, the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure reported.

In connection with the summer tourist season, 220 employees of Solid Waste Management Company, using special equipment, will be wiping up the beach daily.

Mzia Giorgobiani, Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, and Giorgi Shukhoshvili, Director of Solid Waste Management Company, inspected the cleaning works in Ureki resort.
