Government to focus on the development of Defense Forces, PM says

The Georgian government will focus on the development of Defense Forces, strengthening of Georgia’s defence capabilities, said Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili when presenting the Defense Ministry’s long-term development action plan.

PM said that the 10-year plan will be a guarantee for development. It is a document that will not be constantly modified. According to Prime Minister, a strong army means and serves the protection of sovereignty and security of citizens.

“We did much during this one year, a lot of successful reforms, a lot of work, but, of course, we have a plan that will further strengthen our army,” Garibashvili claimed.
