Government extends social-economic, medical assistance to Ukrainians affected by war, residing in Georgia

The Georgian government decided to extend social-economic assistance to the Ukrainians affected by military hostilities and residing in Georgia until April 1, 2026.

Based on the order signed by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Ukrainian families will receive GEL 300, while single individuals will get GEL 45.

The Social Service Agency will issue assistance according to the list provided by the IDPs, Eco-Migrants and Livelihood Agency LEPL.

Starting from the next month, financial aid will be suspended to the Ukrainians who left Georgian territory.

The government also ordered to extend medical services to Ukrainians living in Georgia and affected by the war till April 1, 2026. The Ministry of IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Affairs will ensure medical services supply to the Ukrainians.
The medical services will include immunization, treatment of Tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS, Health of mothers and children, screening of infants, mental health, management of diabetes, dialysis, referral  and emergency services.
