Government approves initiative of Justice Ministry on perfection of voters’ lists

The government today approved the initiative of Justice Ministry on perfection of united voters’ lists that will be submitted to the parliament as legislative changes for approval.

According to Tea Tsulukiani, election lists should be more reliable and based on refined data for the forthcoming presidential elections. She said that perfection of voters’ lists was a live process.

Tsulukiani said that main attention had to be paid to registration of deceased persons and those who have turned 18 and are taking part in the elections for the first time.
