The Georgian government approved the priority trends and programs for issuing grants.
At the order of the government, signed by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, the following directions were defined as priority: democratic institutions, good governance, human rights and basic freedoms, foreign policy and Georgia integration into the EU, economic development, education, science and youth, sports, labor, health and social care, defense and security, regional development and local self-govrnance, environment protection and natural resources, agriculture, judicial and professional education, reconciliaton and civic equality.
“The State Grant Management Agency will act in accordance with priority directions and target programs of state grant issuance. The Agency aims to support acting and registered public organizations through state grants,” the Government Administration said.
