GOC announces public access and live broadcast for extended council at Holy Trinity Cathedral
According to the Public Relations Service of the Patriarchate of Georgia, during the upcoming extended council of the Georgian Orthodox Church, parishioners will be able to access the yard of the Holy Trinity Patriarchate on foot with no restriction.
In addition, large screens have been installed in the yard, allowing the public to watch the proceedings live.
For context, the election of the new, 142nd Catholicos-Patriarch of Georgia will take place today at the extended council of the Georgian Orthodox Church. The event will be held at the Holy Trinity Cathedral and is scheduled to commence at 1:00 p.m.
