GNCC suspended the increased tariffs announced by MagtiCom on 18 February
The Georgian National Communications Commission (GNCC) suspended the increased tariffs announced by MagtiCom on 18 February.
The decision was made at the session of the commission today.
“After the GNCC made a statement about the increased tariffs by MagtiCom and Silknet, both companies were urged to stop the process of increasing the tariffs and to wait for the market research which is being conducted by the commission. Only Silknet took this warning into consideration.
According to the fact that MagtiCom did not take this warning into consideration, the Commission decided to suspend the process of increasing the tariffs in order to protect consumers` interests”, – GNCC said today.
