“Salome Zourabichvili is trolling the Georgian opposition and society in the same way that Russian trolls did to her,” stated Iago Khvichia, leader of the Girchi party.

According to him, Girchi does not wish to engage in these processes nor take the matter seriously.

“In my opinion, Madam Salome Zourabichvili is trolling the Georgian opposition and society in the same way that, if I’m not mistaken, Russian trolls did to her. We don’t want to interfere in this process, and we don’t take this matter seriously. We’ll leave this topic as entertainment for our opposition that has united on some platform,” Khvichia stated.

Georgia’s former president Salome Zourabichvili announced at a briefing that she is beginning work with various representatives of society to create a preparatory committee for May 26 [Georgia’s Independence Day].
