Putin’s response is very unpleasant but is not something new – Georgia’s President Giorgi Margvelashvili said when commenting the statement made by Russian President Vladimir Putin about Georgia’s NATO integration.

“I have the impression that under the background of strong support and the message fixed by all 29 member states of NATO at the recent summit that Russia is occupant and should pullout armed forces from Georgia’s territories, Russian President’s statement is something that is unfortunately not new,” President stated.

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Russia’s reaction to Georgia, Ukraine NATO membership will be extremely negative. “For us, well, it’s a direct and immediate threat for our national security…moving this NATO infrastructure towards our borders would be a threat, and the reaction would be extremely negative,” Putin said in an interview with Fox News.
