Giorgi Bukhrashvili has been appointed as the head of the Adjara Police Department, GPB First Channel learned from the Interior Ministry.

Giorgi Bukhrashvili replaced Grigol Beselia, who left the position today.

According to the Ministry, Bukhrashvili’s appointment was made as part of a rotation.

“The rotational replacement of heads of departments in various divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is periodically implemented, which aims to further increase the effectiveness of police activities,” according to the ministry.
