German Ambassador: Ongoing developments in Georgia thoughtfully monitored

German Ambassador to Georgia Hubert Knirsch says “the ongoing developments in Georgia are being thoughtfully monitored so that the elections can be held peacefully and the voters have the right to make their choice independently.”

“We are monitoring the process, the conditions under which the election campaign takes place and what programs the parties will present,” noted Hubert Knirsch.

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili named October 31 as the date of parliamentary elections and elections of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara.
