GeoStat – Georgia’s economy reduced by 0.7% in September

The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) was reduced by 0.7% in September of 2020 in comparison to the same month of the last year – National Statistics Service GeoStat reported.

The average for the first 9 months of the year is -5.0%.

The reduction is detected in transport and storing, accommodation and food, art, entertainment, construction, scientific and technical activities, information and communications.

The growth tendency was revealed in procession, mining, trade and financial sectors.
