Georgia's PM embarks on working visit to the People's Republic of China

Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze has embarked on a working visit to the People’s Republic of China.

Vice Mayor of Shanghai Xie Dong greeted the Georgian Prime Minister upon arrival at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport.

At the invitation of Li Qiang, Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, the Prime Minister will attend the opening ceremony of the China International Import Expo, in which Georgia is honoured to participate as the guest of honour this year.

During his visit to Shanghai, Irakli Kobakhidze is also scheduled to meet with Premier Li Qiang.

The Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, is accompanied by a delegation comprising Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili, Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Davit Songulashvili, Minister of Finance Lasha Khutsishvili, Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, President of the National Bank Natia Turnava, and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
