Georgia's Interior Minister to meet Europol Executive Director

Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Gakaria will meet with the Executive Director of Europol today . According to the MIA, two documents  on cooperation in law enforcement field will be signed.

“On March 9, Vice Prime Minister of Georgia and Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Gakharia, together with a high-ranking delegation of the Ministry, has visited the Europol headquarters in The Hague. Today, within the frameworks of the visit, Giorgi Gakharia will meet with Rob Wainwright, Executive Director of Europol. The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Executive Director of the European Union will sign the Memorandum of Understanding on “Safe Communication Channel between Georgia and the European Union Law Enforcement Cooperation Agency” and “On Liaison between Georgia and European Union’s law enforcement cooperation agency”, – the MIA says.
