Georgia’s Domestic Exports Surge 70% in January–February, Geostat says

According to the National Statistics Service, in January–February 2026, the volume of goods exported from Georgia (excluding undeclared exports) amounted to $1,026.7 million, a 22.9% increase compared to the same period last year.

Of total exports, domestic exports (excluding re-exports) accounted for 64.3%, reaching $659.7 million, which is 70.0% higher than in the corresponding period of the previous year.

The ten largest export partner countries represented 68.1% of total domestic exports. The top three partners were China with $143.9 million, Russia with $84.9 million, and Turkey with $76.1 million.

Regarding commodity groups, precious metal ores and concentrates ranked first with $125.6 million (19.0% of domestic exports), followed by oil and petroleum products at $88.1 million, and hazelnuts and other nuts at $34.2 million.
