Poti City Hall launches 2,000-lari one-off grant scheme for families of newborns

Poti Municipality has launched a 2,000-Lari one-off financial support scheme for families of newborns born in Poti.

According to Poti City Hall, the eligibility criteria for the scheme are as follows:

The newborn’s birth certificate must state the city of Poti as the place of birth;
The newborn’s parents must have been continuously registered in Poti Municipality for at least one year before submitting the application. In the event of any break in registration, they must not have registered within the administrative boundaries of another municipality during that period;
The residential registration requirement does not apply to citizens with internally displaced person (IDP) status whose IDP registration document lists the city of Poti as their registered address.
