Georgia's Ambassador to U.S. meets Honorary U.S. Consuls and U.S.-Georgian Business Council President
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Tamar Taliashvili of Georgia to the United States met with Honorary Consuls and Mamuka Tsereteli, the President of the U.S.-Georgian Business Council.
During the discussion, the Ambassador highlighted Georgia’s extensive reforms and infrastructure projects aimed at establishing the country as a key trade and economic hub. She also shared Georgia’s leading positions in various international indices.
Taliashvili reaffirmed that strengthening international economic ties remains a core priority of Georgia’s foreign policy.
The meeting also covered the upcoming Tbilisi Silk Road Forum in October 2025 and an upcoming visit of a U.S. business delegation to Georgia in September.
The event was attended by Georgia’s Consuls General in the United States, Maia Bartaia and Levan Kulijanashvili, as well as Honorary Consuls from various states: Zaza Pachulia (California), Barry Edward Greer (Florida), David Shimp (South Carolina), Janet Moore (Texas), Jarred William Guthrie (Massachusetts), John Everett Hall (Georgia), and Isaac Appelbaum (California).
