Georgia’s export value of agro-food products reached USD 787.5 million in the first seven months of 2023, marking an increase of 27.7% year-on-year, the Georgian Agriculture Ministry reported.
Georgia exported agro-food products worth USD 89.0 million to the European Union, representing 2.2% growth over 2022.
The figures show an increase in exports of beverages, live animals and other products. Particularly noteworthy is the rise in exports of alcoholic beverages, wine, non-alcoholic carbonated beverages, blueberries, and canned fruits.
According to the Ministry, Georgia has exported agro-food products to the US, EU member states, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Ukraine, China, Russia, and others.
