Georgian wine showcased in Shanghai
Twenty-six Georgian wine-producing companies participated in ProWine Shanghai, one of the most popular exhibitions in the wine industry, with the support and organization of the National Wine Agency in China.
Georgian wine was tasted within the framework of the masterclass titled Georgia – Small Country with Big Treasures led by wine magistrate Fongyee Walker.
“ProWine Shanghai traditionally attracts a total of over 100,000 visitors, including distributors, importers, and wine professionals. Participation in such a large-scale and significant exhibition contributes to the increase of Georgian wine exports in China,” said Levan Mukhuzla, Chair of the National Wine Agency.
ProWine international exhibitions represent the main event for wine producers for the establishment of new contacts. The main ProWine exhibition is hosted in Düsseldorf; exhibitions are held throughout the year in Tokyo, Shanghai, Mumbai, Singapore, Hong Kong and São Paulo.
