In a move to diversify its export markets, Georgia recently organised a Georgian wine tasting at the Warsaw Night Market festival in Poland’s capital, supported by the National Wine Agency and executed by the agency’s partner, Polish marketing firm People PR.

This popular event, well-established within the Polish wine industry, attracts thousands of wine enthusiasts, industry professionals, importers, representatives from the hospitality and catering sector, and media outlets. The presentation of Georgian wine at this festival aims to promote Georgian wines further and bolster export growth.

According to the National Wine Agency, Poland is recognised as one of Georgia’s strategic markets, where Georgian wines have steadily secured a place among the top five export destinations. Since 2022, the Agency has collaborated with People PR to implement a targeted marketing campaign in Poland, resulting in a consistent increase in Georgian wine exports. Data from January to August 2025 indicates that exports to Poland reached 4.7 million litres, representing a 15% rise compared to the same period in 2024.

One of the primary objectives of the National Wine Agency is to promote and enhance awareness of Georgian wine across international markets. Since 2013, the Agency has been conducting targeted advertising and marketing campaigns in America, Europe, and Southeast Asia to diversify its export destinations. Georgian wines were showcased at 20 exhibitions and festivals, as well as 145 tasting seminars across 14 countries during the first eight months of 2025, with the financial and organisational support of the National Wine Agency.
