A delegation from the Operative-Technical Agency of the State Security Service of Georgia (SSSG), led by the agency’s head, Beka Mamardashvili, has concluded an official visit to the United States, according to an SSSG press release.

The agency noted that during the visit, delegation members held a series of meetings with officials from the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).

“The two sides discussed mechanisms for exchanging information on cyber incidents and establishing coordinated response procedures where necessary. Discussions also centred on strengthening bilateral cooperation through joint initiatives designed to enhance cyber resilience.

CISA’s core mandate involves protecting U.S. critical national infrastructure from cyber threats and coordinating information-sharing efforts on both a domestic and international level,” the SSSG statement read.
