Georgian PM meets Italian Ambassador

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Italian Ambassador, Massimiliano D’Antuono on Thursday.

According to the government’s press office, the PM briefed the Ambassador on Georgia’s progress on its EU path and underscored Italy’s support in this process.

The parties also discussed bilateral cooperation and fruitful cooperation in trade and economy, defense, education, and culture.

Irakli Kobakhidze thanked Massimiliano D’Antuono for his strong support for the country’s European future as well as for its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
