Education Minister meets Italian Ambassador

The Georgian Minister of Education, Science, and Youth, Giorgi Amilakhvari, met with the newly appointed Ambassador of Italy to Georgia, Massimiliano D’Antuono.

The sides discussed opportunities for enhancing cooperation and implementing joint projects, including strengthening Italian language education in Georgia. The Ambassador expressed gratitude for support in this endeavour, particularly acknowledging the decision to allow Italian language teachers to undergo subject testing.

The meeting also discussed the development of national exam tests in the Italian language and deepening partnerships in higher education and scientific research.
