Georgian PM: Judicial overhaul has driven surge in public trust

“You only have to look at the sheer scale of the overhauls made to the judicial system since 2012, which have delivered tangible results, including a drop in the number of cases taken to the Strasbourg Court, among other metrics. We have achieved a fundamental transformation of our court system,” stated the Georgian Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze.

The Prime Minister noted that sociological data clearly reflects this upward trend in institutional confidence.

“Naturally, this progress is mirrored in international rankings and evaluations. This is a matter of objective fact, and we always appreciate it when international bodies acknowledge these realities objectively,” Kobakhidze added.
