“This visit to Kazakhstan is historic for Georgian-Kazakh relations. We have signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Republic of Kazakhstan. This major accord will elevate our ties to a whole new level,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told reporters in Kazakhstan.
The Prime Minister emphasised that Kazakhstan is one of Georgia’s key economic partners.
“This is a visit of exceptional significance. It is a historic moment for Georgian-Kazakh relations because we have signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Republic of Kazakhstan. This major accord will elevate our ties to a whole new level. We already enjoy strong momentum, excellent political relations, and growing economic cooperation.
Kazakhstan is one of our primary economic partners. More broadly, we attach great importance to Central Asia, where Kazakhstan plays a unique role. It boasts a rapidly growing economy, the largest in the region, making our cooperation with Kazakhstan exceptionally vital.
Furthermore, substantial efforts regarding connectivity are underway to enhance our transit potential, and cooperation with Kazakhstan is crucial in this area as well. Consequently, our relations with the Republic of Kazakhstan are moving to a fundamentally new level,” Kobakhidze noted.
