Georgian PM assesses meeting with President of Tajikistan as productive, focused on expanding cooperation

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze posted a statement about his meeting with the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, on the X Platform.

According to Kobakhidze, the meeting was productive, focusing on expanding cooperation in trade, transport, connectivity, and other areas of mutual interest.

“As part of the first high-level visit to Tajikistan, I was pleased to meet with H.E. Emomali Rahmon, President of Tajikistan. Together with our delegations, we held productive discussions on expanding cooperation in trade, transport, connectivity, and other areas of mutual interest.

We reaffirmed our commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and unlocking the considerable potential for closer partnership and enhanced cooperation,” he wrote.
