Georgian Parliament Speaker meets Vice-President of Chile's Chamber of Deputies

The Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, on Friday, met with the Vice-President of the Chamber of Deputies of Chile, Claudia Mix.

The parties discussed the bilateral relations and international security milieu. As Papuashvili noted, the Georgian Parliament has already set up the Georgia-Chile Friendship Group and hoped that the Parliament of Chile would soon take a counter step, the Parliament’s press office said.

Papuashvili expressed his gratitude to Chile for being the first to support the UN Resolution on the Status of the IDPs and Refugees from the Occupied Territories of Georgia adopted at the UN General Assembly.
