Georgian Parliament Speaker hails ‘exposure’ of foreign-influenced opposition networks as historic step for national stability
“Historically, exposing those who serve foreign interests has been a vital prerequisite for strengthening the country. This is exactly what we are witnessing today within opposition agent networks,” Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili stated.
According to him, the ongoing friction within the opposition amounts to a complete exposure of their networks, revealing how political directives are orchestrated from abroad.
“The primary motivation driving the conflict within the opposition is the desire to impress those giving them tasks from abroad. This is the root cause of the infighting currently occurring within these groups. We are watching them turn on each other and expose one another, which is a welcome sight. Historically, exposing those who push foreign agendas has been key to strengthening the nation. This is precisely what is happening now. Their entire network is being laid bare, exposing how foreign political directives operate, a process that ultimately damages their standing domestically,” Papuashvili said.
