The Georgian parliamentary delegation, chaired by Vice Speaker Nino Tsilosani, met Hedy Fry, Head of the Canadian Delegation in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, during their official visit to Canada.

Nino Tsilosani reviewed the information environment about Georgia in the international space, stressing the significance of argument-based and verified information vs. disinformation and incorrect use of the so-called “Moscow Mechanism.”

“The data and arguments we provided turned out to be interesting for the partners. These meetings have aroused interest in our country. Accordingly, we expect that the cooperation process will have a positive continuation,” said Nino Tsilosani.

The parties confirmed readiness for active dialogue that will contribute to the correct representation of Georgia’s interests in the international arena and the strengthening of strategic partnerships.
