'Georgian Language Unites Us' campaign begins

A large-scale campaign ‘The Georgian Language Unites Us’ has kicked off on the initiative of the State Ministry for Reconciliation and Civic Equality and with the financial support of the Education Ministry.

According to the Ministry’s press office, the campaign aims to promote awareness of the need to learn the state language, mainly in regions densely populated by ethnic minorities.

The initiative also tries to increase the popularity of the Georgian language.
