Georgian Interior Minister visits Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs facilities
As part of his official visit to the Republic of Armenia, Georgia’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Sulkhan Tamazashvili, has visited various operational units of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs to observe their infrastructure and specialised operations firsthand.
Accompanied by his First Deputy, Roni Meskhi, and the Director of the Patrol Police Department, Levan Maisuradze, the Minister toured Armenia’s ‘112’ Emergency Response Centre and its Patrol Police Service.
During the visit, the Armenian hosts briefed the Georgian delegation on their ongoing institutional reforms, organisational structure, and the integration of modern technologies into their daily policing.
According to the Interior Ministry, members of the delegation also inspected the local police infrastructure and specialised tactical equipment, gaining insight into the capabilities and core operational focuses of the respective divisions.
