The Georgian Minister of Health continues his engagements in New York as part of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to the Ministry of Health, Mikheil Sarjveladze met with Bulgaria’s Minister of Health, Silvi Kirilov. Their discussion centred on ongoing healthcare reforms in both countries, successful experiences, and prospects for future collaboration.
“The ministers focused on key issues such as disease prevention, equitable access to healthcare services, and the adoption of modern medical technologies. Both parties also expressed their readiness to strengthen cooperation in the realm of public health,” the Ministry stated.
During the UN General Assembly, the Georgian Minister of Health is also scheduled to participate in high-level events and deliver speeches highlighting Georgia’s reform initiatives and priority areas, the Ministry added.
