Georgian Foreign Minister meets Japanese Ambassador

Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili has held a meeting with Hideki Ishizuka, the Ambassador of Japan to Georgia.

According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, the two officials discussed a wide range of current issues in bilateral relations and multilateral cooperation.

“The meeting also addressed ongoing regional developments and challenges. The Ambassador reaffirmed Japan’s unwavering support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders,” the ministry statement said.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their readiness to work actively on continuing the successful cooperation between Georgia and Japan.
