The Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Foreign Affairs David Zalkaliani, is in Brussels within the working visit of the Associated Trio – Foreign Ministers of Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.

According to Zalkaliani, this visit is a significant opportunity to share their vision with the European partners.

“Eastern Partnership Summit is scheduled for this year. The EU must have a new understanding of the importance of this union. A new geopolitical reality in the Eastern Partnership region requires a different approach,” Zalkaliani said.

The Foreign Ministers of Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine will hold meetings with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, European Commissioner for Trade Valdis Dombrovskis and European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi.
