Georgian FM partakes in EU enlargement working group meeting

Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili participated in the EU enlargement working group meeting in Berlin, Germany.

Foreign Ministers of Latvia, Sweden, Austria, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Moldova, Hungary and Albania also participated in the meeting.

Georgian FM elaborated on the EC’s 12-point priorities fulfilment and Georgia’s expectations of candidate status.

He expressed hope the European partners would value Georgia’s progress and efforts, reflected in the political decision to be made on Georgia’s EU candidate status.

The meeting was held within the framework of the conference titled “Making the European Union fit for enlargement and future members fit for accession.”
